About: Zack was with SOLDIER, an elite force within Shinra Electric Company's army made up of soldiers enhanced with mako, ie the Planet's Lifestream or spirit energy. He was given the nickname "Zack the puppy" early in his career and it is 100% accurate: he's energetic and friendly and easily exciteable, although he has matured a little since earning it. And while he can buckle down and be serious - he's one of the best for a reason - there's a time and place for it, and otherwise comes off as a guy who's just enjoying a new lease on life. Ask him about his dreams and he'll happily and proudly tell you that he wants to be a hero, and he practically lives by the words his mentor would always say to him: that to be a hero, you needed to embrace your dreams and protect your honor. And that's what he does, following his heart in order to do the right thing.

Zack is CRAU from jikan_rpg, though personality-wise there isn't much difference! He's a little more aware of events happening in canon following his death and details relating to it, but he's at peace with a lot of it most of the time.
