And Setsura is there at Kabe-Skate Park bright and early on the morning of the twenty-third. She'd roused her help earlier and half of them are already present along with Fuwafuwa, who sniffs the air from his place beside her. She's presently chatting with a few of the kids, her ears open for the sounds of transport.
[if there's one thing you can count on Zack for, it's that when he says he's going to do something, he does it. And thankfully, everything that morning went pretty smoothly - driving something steam-powered took a little getting used to, but -
There he is, rented truck, fruit and all. In one piece and still cool, because he made darn sure of it]
[ When Setsura hears the truck approaching, she smiles that much wider and preemptively steps mid conversation to meet it with hanyo children on her heels. She raises a hand in greeting as it stops and waits for the engine to cut and the door to open before speaking. ]
[after cutting the engine, Zack hops out with all the energy of someone who's already been up for hours. Which frankly should be illegal, but he always has a bunch of energy]
Mornin', Setsura! [and a grin to her little ducklings] And kids!
[he hops up onto back of the truck] Where do you want these?
[ She tosses her thumb behind them. There's a setup, alright. Canopies and a couple of tables and the beginnings of some kind of something, probably to help keep the fruit on the cooler side of things. There's a person or two mulling about over there. ]
You might want to move the truck a little closer. If not...
[ She turns her eyes on the little ones, who grin. They already know. ]
[he grins, too] Got a couple of helpers, huh? [he starts nudging a few of the smaller boxes to the end of truck, where he lowers the hatch] By the time I get this thing started up again we'll already have everything over there. You guys wanna grab these?
[as for the heavier boxes - he picks up a few them with a grunt and, surprise or no, it's a little more than the average guy could manage]
[ Setsura is directing the kids to the canopies, instructing them on where to put what. There should be more than enough for the day and they need to be kept cool, but she doesn't miss Zack lifting the boxes.
Well, would you look at that. ]
I don't suppose you've been hitting the gym since the last time we saw each other? I haven't seen you around the Kennel.
[Zack sets the boxes down where he's told to, and while the kids are helping with that, he goes to get the rest of the boxes. He laughs a little at the question]
No ma'am, unless you want to count carrying boxes for other people a workout.
You know, I don't think we did. [he glances back over to the kids, all excited over cool fruit on what would likely be another hot day, then offers Setsura a smile]
If you know anyone looking for anyone doing stuff like this, put in a good word for me. Sound fair?

[ Should be, not that she hasn't taken into account temperatures, shelter, when the park should start getting busy. ]
no subject
Shouldn't be too hard. Though . . . what am I delivering?
no subject
no subject
[he grins] I can definitely have it delivered by then.

[Zack doesn't do anything half-assed, it'll be delivered on time and in one piece regardless of a bonus]
no subject
Alright. I'll see you when you get there. Remember, nine o'clock!
no subject
Yes ma'am. You can count on me!

No, not at all. [ ... ] You loaded all this up yourself?
no subject
Yep! I wanted to make sure I got here on time, and it goes a little faster if I just do it myself.
no subject
I can see how that would be the case. That's the last of them, isn't it?
no subject
That's all of them.

[Zack that isn't a payment]

[ She wrinkles her nose. ]
You aren't leaving here today without an additional sum in your wallet.
