Memory #13: Angeal's Truth [The truth behind Angeal and Genesis] (Neutral Significant)
What He Remembered:
- Finding Angeal!
- Angeal has . . . one wing . . .
- Angeal saying he should've been to fought Genesis . . . wait, he fought Genesis once before?
- "Although, what's next is a job only for you." Angeal pointing his sword at him.
"What do you mean?!"
A-And Angeal attacking WHY IS THIS FAMILIAR
- "There's someone waiting for yo isn't there?"
- He doesn't want to fight Angeal THIS IS FAMILIAR TOO
- Some guy interrupting them talking about "their child" getting revenge
- CRISIS CORE PLOT
* Angeal's mother ended her own life because she was ashamed by her past
* But the scientist guy says otherwise, that she was very prideful because she used her name for the project code name.
* Project G = Project Gillian
* Jenova cells were injected into her, and then her cells were directly injected into the fetus known as Genesis
* But Genesis was a failure
* Angeal wasn't - he received her cells directly, and is "perfect"
- "Zack, I'm nothing but a perfect monster."
* Angeal can inject his cells into other people to make bidirectional clones - copies.
* . . . which means he's got Jenova's power . . .
- "Zack, do you remember our promise? That we'd fight against anything that torments this world."
"Yeah, but you're wrong."
"I'll become the torment. Zack, I'll show you."
- OHSHI SUDDENLY MONSTERS
- OSHI ATTACKING—wait no . . . ?
- Angeal merging with all those monsters . . . D8
- Getting cut across the cheek - where his scar is now.
- "Angeal, where did your pride go?!"
What This Means:
So in an IRONIC TWIST the memory he just got - well, the fight in it anyway, directly parallels this one in a ton of ways! Mostly people he looks/looked up to using him to defeat/kill them. :|a
This one . . . also has a lot of feelings. This is the first time he's really remembered Angeal - and all the feelings that go along with that. He looks up this guy a lot, and well . . . here's his mentor saying he'll become the bad guy so Zack'll kill him.
This is also Zack's first real CRISIS CORE PLOT INFO DUMP MEMORY. He now knows Angeal and Genesis were part of an experiment when they were born, and that Genesis was the failed one (ha ha) while Angeal came out perfect. He doesn't remember Banora yet and all that, but he does now know that Angeal's mom wasn't killed, but killed herself.
So in other words, Zack is going to have another twenty feelings over this. AGAIN.
