Skill #7 & Memory #10
Skill #7: Hand-to-hand combat
What it says on the tin! Zack is not only a swordsman, but he has training in hand-to-hand as well. So this means his agility and whatnot is a lot better, and when he gets back the DMW skill that goes along with it, he'll be able to actually use it instead of fall on his face.
Notes: Game 38, unknown.
Memory #10: Ending [Escaping to Midgar and running into the army, Zack's death. 2, 3] (Neutral Significant)
What He Remembered:
- Catching a ride sometime after leaving Banora to Midgar
- Cloud is still comatose/Mako-poisoned :(
- . . . he is talking to him like Cloud is a-okay, awesome, just like the other memory
- He has a place to stay (Aeris) but can't because her mother's there :V
- Deciding that him and Cloud should start a business as mercenaries
- "Just joking, I'd never abandon you. We're friends, right?"
- Getting attacked and jumping off the truck because SUDDENLY ARMY
- Hiding Cloud behind some rocks, and then . . .
- That sure is an entire army.
- "Honestly. Freedom sure is pricey."
- Angeal's line about honor and dreams.
- A LONG ASS-FIGHT where he takes out nearly the entire army except for three dudes and a helicopter
- KEEPS GOING, THOUGH . . . or tries to.
- His DMW is fading/deteriorating.
- S-S-Shot until he goes down.
- . . . shot in the head, too.
- He lays there for . . . who knows how long, until it starts raining, and Cloud crawls over.
- The following dialogue:
"On my behalf."
"On your behalf?"
"That's right. You will . . ."
"You will?"
Grabbing Cloud, pulls him to his chest. "Live. You are . . . the proof that I existed. My prides and dreams . . . I give it all to you."
Gives Cloud the Buster Sword.
"I am the proof that you existed."
- And . . . that's it.
- Except for Angeal bringing him into the Lifestream—wait.
What This Means:
So, that's how I died.
